Payment Policy

How a card program gets paid for: deposits on new accounts, Net 30 after credit review, the tax paperwork that has to arrive before invoicing, and what happens when an invoice runs late.

Effective November 5, 2026 Applies to lordscancard.com & all orders Seller OPENNODE INC, Georgia

In short

  • All prices are in U.S. dollars. Freight, insurance and sales tax are quoted separately.
  • New accounts start with a deposit; Net 30 is available after credit approval.
  • We never ask for card numbers by email. Payment links come from our processor, and bank details are confirmed by phone before a wire.

01Currency and quotes

Prices are quoted and invoiced in U.S. dollars. A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and the unit price depends on quantity, chip, stock, finishing and encoding — a 100-card run and a 10,000-card run are different products, not the same product at a discount.

Unless the quote says “freight included,” freight, insurance and sales tax are added. Quotes accepted after 30 days are re-confirmed before production.

02Payment methods

  • ACH or wire — bank details appear on the invoice. Confirm them by phone with the person who quoted you before sending; wire fraud targets invoice email.
  • Company check — payable to OPENNODE INC. Production starts when the check clears.
  • Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, through a secure processor link. We do not take card numbers by email, fax or chat, and we do not store them.
  • Net 30 — approved business accounts only, per section 04.

We do not accept cryptocurrency, gift cards, or payment from an unrelated third party without written approval — those routes are common fraud patterns on card orders.

03Deposits

New accounts pay 50% at order, with the balance due before shipment. Repeat accounts may have the deposit waived after two completed orders in good standing.

Orders above the value stated on the quote can be billed in milestones — typically 50% at order, 30% at proof approval, 20% before dispatch. Deposits are applied to the invoice, not held as a separate balance.

04Net 30 credit

Net 30 is available to businesses after credit review: a completed credit application, two trade references, a bank reference and proof of business registration. We review limits annually and may adjust terms as payment history develops.

We may hold production or shipment on an account that is past due, and may require prepayment again if an account falls more than 30 days behind.

05Sales tax

We charge Georgia sales tax on taxable sales, and destination-state sales tax where we have a physical or economic presence. Tax is calculated on the card price plus taxable services; freight is taxed only where the destination state requires it.

To be billed without tax, send a valid resale certificate or exemption certificate before the invoice is issued — we cannot refund tax already remitted because paperwork arrived late. We do not provide tax advice; your accountant decides what your organization qualifies for.

06Invoices and purchase orders

Invoices are issued at shipment. Give us the purchase order number, billing address and AP contact at order stage; an invoice that has to be reissued because a PO number was missing slows payment for everyone.

A completed W-9 is available on request. Remittance advice goes to the address on the invoice; monthly statements are available for accounts on terms.

07Late payment

Past-due balances carry a service charge of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is lower, from the due date until paid. We may also suspend production, withhold shipment and recover reasonable collection costs.

If cash flow is tight, call before the due date — a payment plan agreed in advance is always cheaper than a suspended order.

08Returned and failed payments

If an ACH or check is returned unpaid, the bank’s fee is passed through and the invoice is reissued with the balance due immediately. Repeated failures move the account back to prepayment terms.

09Refunds and credits

Refunds follow the Returns & Refunds Policy: approved refunds go to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Where a credit note is issued instead, it applies to future orders and stays valid for 12 months.

10Verification and fraud checks

Card orders attract fraud attempts, so first orders to a new address, orders where the ship-to and bill-to differ, and unusually large quantities may need verification: a call to a published company number, a domain email reply, or company documentation.

We will not release an order we believe is fraudulent, and we will refund any payment received back to its source.

11Price changes

Accepted quotes and confirmed orders hold their price. If chip or metal cost moves materially — more than 15% — before your production slot, we will show the change with documentation and you may cancel the unaffected portion without penalty.
